I'd argue that there's the same chance of a strip, fumble return for a TD on their 4th down attempt as there is a FG block return for TD. The play I'm pissed about as a NU backer is A&M's play call on 3rd and 2. RUN IT UP THE GUT and then you have an argument to go for it on 4th and short...but once they lost 4 yards on 3rd and 2, you HAVE to kick the FG and make it a 2-possession game. |

Obviously I meant if A&M doesn't lose 4 yards on 3rd and 2**
if AM ran it up the gut on 3rd and 2 then maybe they run it once more on 4th and short and we get our cover.... Bad beat, but can't fault the coach IMO |

I was on Northwestern and you're wrong.
A&M has the best kicker in the country...when it's 4th and 6 you kick it there to make it a 2 possession game. Now, if NU doesn't lose 4 yards on 3rd and 2 then we have a completely different discussion about going for it on 4th and short |

Hey fellow Degens...I'm looking for 2nd Half lines from the past few seasons.
Any websites that have info like the full game line, total, and 2H line from previous seasons? |

The rule is stupid as fuck.
He caught the ball with 2 hands above his head, clearly had 2 feet down, took another step, switches the ball to his right hand, then his knee hits the ground, then his left elbow, then his left hand touches out of bounds, then his right hand with the ball touches the ground and the ball comes out of his hand as he gets up to celebrate. At what point does the process of catching the ball end? |

My buddy bet me there wouldn't be a hole in one in the Masters and I let him lay the juice.
Anyone know the best way to look this up or anyone know off-hand if a hole in one occurred early on this tourney?

played with a men's or women's ball?
my uncle's Freshman B basketball team scrimmaged the varsity girls team (which later went on to win conference and get to the elite 8 of the state playoffs) and the frosh B won 66-44. Think of all the weak ass layups and post moves the "tall" 6'3" women do down low. Any D1 male will send that weak shit back. NJIT 78- UCONN 55 |

I have seen many instances where a coach calls a timeout as a guy is shooting a three and it doesn't count because the timeout was called beforehand. Sorry but this wasn't a bad call. No way. The ball doesn't become dead until the ref awards the timeout. In this case, the ref clearly awarded the timeout AFTER Jardin turned the ball over. |

Because teams in the big ten value each possession and aren't as careless with the ball, thus "hard to watch" in your eyes...that makes the play an inferior product?

This coming from UW-Madison alumnus...
I cannot fathom how you could pick THIS SPOT to back the Badgers for a play of your life. Granted Purdue just let Mich get the backdoor cover their last game, but if the badgers get down early like they have been the past several games, I find it hard to believe they can claw their way back into this one. Who's gonna stop JJ down low? Nankovil? If Johnson stays outta foul trouble, Wisco could be in for a loooong night. |
