I'm seeing suggestions here that the right thing was for the giants to take a knee. Ive an old guy, have gambled all my adult life, and have seen losing teams take a knee or run plays to just run out the clock maybe 5 or 6 times. I watched thousands upon thousands of games. If you think losing teams going on a knee is normal, you must have started gambling yesterday.

I had an unlimited gambling account with a local, had a few weeks where i lost 12000k +, Covid happened, lost my job, and asked my bookie to close my account. I went to strictly cash betting (money upfront), and bet small. Nearly 3 years later, I still bet, maybe a few hundred a week, (down from thousands), and still get the kick. Where before i'd bet 1000 on a play , now i bet 50 to 100. What I'm saying is that for some people its possible to cut down, but others may need to go cold turkey. I dont miss those Monday morning where I had to figure out how to come up with thousands to cover my losses. A an added bonus, my health improved, my high Blood pressure went away. |

@Newkid92 Me thinks that y'all should go back to playing Fortnite and leave the gambling to adults. If you believe its fixed, why do you bet? I dont believe games are fixed, but I may be wrong, but the sad part is you are convinced the fix is in and you continue to throw your money away. Why do you do it???? |

@legguy69 Been gambling for about 35 years, even had a glorious period where i was taking action. Up until 3 years ago had unlimited credit with a bookie and had weeks where I dropped over 15k (weekly)on more than one occasion, my financial situation(job-wise) changed and I managed to break free of the out of control betting, I closed my account with local bookie , and I only bet online now (no credit, all cash bets). A large bet for me now is 100, as opposed to 1000. I still get my gambling fix, but my downside is greatly reduced....why the life story???, I will tell you... If you lose that huge bet, chances are almost nil that you will never bet again, you may go a few days, but in the end its virtually impossible to quit cold turkey. You will be betting within a week. |

@Cavs2017Champs I always see this scripted b.s.. , even if it was, nobody cares...none of us know what the script is, so we still bet, basically we would be betting on the correct storyline. It's still fun, either way. |

After the debacle on Sunday, a 144-99 loss, the Raptors play at home for the first time in 10 days...the arena will only be allowed to hold 9000 people (there will be much less than 9k there, trust me). Also there will be no food or beer allowed, so the crowd will be even quieter. The team had all its starters in covid protocol, last game, and some players only met each other(emergency signings) minutes before the game.
Still waiting for definitive info for todays game, but if nothing changes, the 76'ers - 6.5 are a play |

Had a smallish bet on over 50.5 (110$), actually lost, BUT my book offered me a full cash out (which I took) after the GB TD that was reviewed and reversed. They never make mistakes like that. |

I love the team, and their coach is great at prepping them for games, but he and/or the coaches are terrible at clock management. Why did they keep throwing when they were up 14? It actually opened a small window for Baltimore. If Huntley connect with Andrews, we may have had a tight finish. By my estimation, if buff ran on every down, they would have killed an extra 3 minutes. |

I guess when the favorite covers and the game goes over, all the squares put their conspiracy theories on the back burner. At least until they lose their next bet. That was a fun game to watch, NO challenges, only a few penalties, and it took under 3 hours. |

Aside from the basic idiocy of this post, what are the advantages of pooling? Sound like a disaster waiting to happen. (if this bullshit was true). |

Was up 800.00, but dropped 660.00 yesterday. Was about to go underwater, but got bailed out by NCstate today . Now up 290$, any amount over zero makes me happy, not betting to supplement my income, just reduce some of the Covid boredom. If I break even, I call it free entertainment.

There is more violence on a goal line running play than whatever happened at that brawl, mostly swinging and missing, and anything that connected hit a helmet, except for the idiots who were brawling in street clothes...for them , let's discuss Darwinism. |

THE NFL (AND WRESTLING) IS AN "ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS"--NOT ILLEGAL TO "FIX" IT'S OWN GAMES....
in NFL Betting I find there are too many "moving parts" to script a game. I submit the easiest way to "fix" a game is to pay off a referee or 2, to me that is way more plausible.

@undermysac Not a direct correlation, but it may cause it. Also depends on the type of steroid and the dose (like any other drug), so there is no definitive answer. |
