For a moment there I thought I opened up into the NBA forum (posts14-16). What's the matter boo-boo? Another disappointment this morning when you discovered once again there still isn't any hair sprouting in the vicinity of your marble sac? Daddy's Rogaine Just isn't getting it done? Poor boo-boo. |

Seahawks are playing at a consistently elevated level. Disciplined yet opportunistic offensively...and play intense, mean as hell defense. If their coach didn't display and promote such concentrated levels of "USC Smug Arrogance" I wouldn't enjoy it near as much as I do when I fade 'em and they lose. Just don't think today will be one of those days. Today... I think they're $. |

A couple of Seattle locals have already posted weather notes..Here's the NOAA (National Oceanic Atmospheric Admin.) game time forecast: 50 degrees w/ wind chill at 40...Wind @ 26-28 w/ gusts up to 38...Chance for some light rain @ 96% (.25 inch variety) I think 10/44 are sharp #'s all things considered...The Seahawk fans are intelligent and famously disruptive... Saints are heading into a perfect storm though Seahawks 27-13 GL to the forum this W/end

Per ESPN at halftime of the FCS Championship game Good for you C. Strong. A good qualified man for the job, who will most assuredly face a mountainous challenge of socialogical undercurrents if he decides to forge that path. Its time a crown jewel opportunity of a program opens the door. IMHO |

I hadn't yet settled into watching the game at that point...had the volume down ...yet it reeled me in cause I really thought someone had lost their mind. I thought a parody was being played out...that there was no way that what I was listening to was a serious rendition. Funny though, there is bound to be a producer somewhere that was 'blown away' and will give that pathetic performer some high dollar work.

Granted it can vary game to game and person to person...but what are your focal points for the collegiate game? Also, how much does line movement affect your read? I have been laying in 3-5 pages of data per game (anal issues outside of my control coupled with a coaching background) a lot in part so I don't hear myself mutter "if I knew that I wouldn't have bet it that way...or I would have put more or le$$ on it"

Fast forward six or seven years...you got a job, a young family that depends on you for it all, and the respect of your wife. Now, throw your current dilemma in to this picture. What are you gonna do? I'll tell you what you won't do...you won't underestimate your situation. You wont underestimate your book's capacity to collect the debt, the safety of that young family/wife, and the unnecessary illumination of your predicament. You take care of business first, then deal with/mend your personal issues. But business first if it puts your personal world in jeopardy. Now reel it back in to today. You're at the tail end of your educational phase and in an uncomfortable spot. The only person that's in the line of fire right now is you. Take care of business. Post #42 and #45 are accurate assessments. Its the end of the pay period and it's time to pay up. So start paying up. Incrementally, but pay. Maybe you have a great relationship with a family member that can front you the value of that mark and will keep it under the radar, maybe you don't...maybe you sign up for a job that dedicates the pay to your book. But do not push this problem to the right via a cash advance on a credit card or a lending institution. Keep it private. You got careless, not ruined. There are many good/great posts offered up here re: the personal side of this equation. Repair as required. Some good caring responses have been put on display in this thread...some quite soul baring. Tip o' the hat to you all. For those that chose to mock or kick a wounded dog .... the spotlight didn't miss you.

From an old OLC to an astute student of the game. It always has, and always will start at the O line. Thanks amd

Funny though...they lose to Michigan yet beat Mich St. ...get beat by Oklahoma then beat AZ St and USC...lose to Pitt but beat BYU. I can handle inconsistency...don't care for it but I get it. But THIS display today is beyond tolerable from a wagering or a coaching perspective. Those who laid it down on Rutgers had the right read by a country mile...good for you |

Right you are. Second half scoring is atrocious for each team for the last 6 weeks. That's why it'll prolly exceed 48 pts.

I would suggest you wager as much as you want...on anything you want...for this is CLEARLY your lucky day. That half had no business going under...at all...whatsoever. Wow.

HOW did this clown EVER get the nod to be the starting QB at ND? This is beyond belief.

Hey amd...nice start for you. It is a rare moment indeed when I see ANYONE mention anything to do with O-line coordination or schemes. Is that an interest of yours, or just one of the facets you chose to take 'em to task on? (Nothing to do with capping I know...just curious). You're one of the very few I look up after I run out a cap to see where you stand. GL through the bowl slate. |

165...Your write up was a well written piece supporting your position and point of view... one that MANY on this site could learn from. Some will...most wont. Here's hoping you will shed the flak and continue to present the same quality effort we found in this thread. Capping is similar to a bidding process...you cant win it if you don't submit it, but just because you submit it, doesn't mean you win it. GL throughout the Bowl Season |

I gave up on that quest long ago. That data is archived and controlled to minimize the books exposure/loss potential. Not to mention the logistics involved on their side of the fence to provide us (customers) data that would increase our success potential.

Boise's last six games went 4-2. For the sake of illustration I'll use Saragins Ratings for those six opponents
#99 Nevada 34-17
#29 @BYU 20-37
#88 @Colorado St 42-30
#141 Wyoming 48-7
#96 @SDSU 31-34
#149 N.Mexico 45-17
Oregon St Last 6
#121 Cal 49-17
#3 Stanford 12-20
#20 USC 14-31
#8 Arizona St 17-30
#12 Washington 27-69
#4 Oregon 35-36
Boise still had Peterson and Southwick was still mending. BYU is a tough road game but not Top 25.
Oregon St. ran the gauntlet. They hung tough against Stanford, ran into a rejuvenated Ogeron SC, road game in AZ, and shite the sheets vs. Washington And well...lost to Oregon...by 1
My $ will be on the incumbent head coach with the senior QB that did not get sent home...the team that walked the mine field the last five games and gets a shot at a weaker public favorite Boise St.

Would I emotionally unload on my next play after watching a winning ticket turn into a vapor trail? Nope nope nope nope nope. Regroup and start over? Yes, absolutely.

Words cannot begin to describe what took place at the end of that game. Id just like to be on the receiving end of one of those .WSU gives up 18 points in a little more than two minutes?? After getting a huge reprieve? I keep thinking I've seen it all...and I keep finding out "no you haven't"
