Just reading up on Texas, It's actually a pretty funny situation from what I could find in actual articles. Texas doesn't allow wagering on sports within the state and any local businesses. BUT doesn't care about the offshore stuff. Then the other issue is most US books have to have separate licenses for each state, mostly because of the state taxation take is different. But some, like Illinois (where I live) have extra rules like no betting on in state NCAA involved teams. I believe all states don't allow wagering from out of state, thus they have to have a GPS location on you before the apps will take a bet. For example, I have several accounts for each app (bet rivers, mgm, superbook). One for each state. I visit Vegas alot, so have to have the apps ready to go. But have to log into a different app. Whichever state I'm in. I went to Michigan this year, and the process for my verification for an account (rivers) took 5 days. |

a dime, just walk into any book and place your bet. That's normally under the limits set by most books. Over the limit bets get a little tricky.I would think the best reading on the subject is either mattress mack, whom most know by now. He for years was trying to bet large amounts and theres articles about how he had to negotiate with all the books. Thats until I believe draft kings took ALL his action. And what I believe they called bettor X a few years ago. Who was hitting large parleys and bets all over vegas in football for millions. |

I know another guy on here picked SJ and is celebrating. I had St louis and knew I lost in the second period. Thank god I hedged to get the amount I bet on a 6 teamer they just blew up for me. And of course the other 5 won easily, but were still in action to prevent a larger hedge. I still hoped the blues would start to try. But that was the most uninterested team I've watched this year. Lesson learned. Wont be betting a blues game for a week or 2. |

Been there twice since the mandatory masks was in place. Is it worth it truly depends on the gambler. If your going for shows, it's probably not a good time. Granted there aren't many places that have shows right now. Dinner and great food is available, but you will have to do mare research than before. And reservations most likely for anything high end that may be open. Slots, don't really change much. It's you and your machine. I play Blackjack, and I found the hardest part was getting used to not just talking to the others at the table. You have to almost yell to carry a conversation (Because of masks and plex glass between everyone). But it also went when interacting with the dealer. When making some of the side bets, the dealers would be on auto pilot and skip asking for things before dealing the house. I felt like I was always yelling. But made it work and had a good time. As far as rates, they have been almost giving away rooms to attract people. So check with any hotel you have a players card at. But with that being said super cheap rooms have attracted some 'interesting' folks. And from what I read and seen on the news, I follow vegas news, things aren't as tourist loving as normal. I actually am booked for super bowl week. But when I'm in vegas, I'm about the gambling. So I don't mind it. |

I had 3 large parlay down to one leg, all the lake show ML. At half time the lakers were up 16, GS ML was +1200. Had to risk lower than 5 percent of my total possible win to guarantee the win at half time. GLAD I did it!! Easily my best hedge bet ever. |

thanks for the link, granted it (the link) quit on me with 40 seconds left. But the result was good for my insurance plays. I had Hawaii and the over tied to a few 7 team parlays. After the seriously slow start, made a couple hedge bets with under and bakers. So I ended up making money on the whole deal. On to the weekend. 5000 things to bet on!!!

I took Mookie to score a run with small juice. Figure they will pitch around him since he's been doing well (walks). And hopefully he will case havac on the basepads again. |

congrats, I admit I cared more for the first pitch in this game just because of reading all this and your research. I took No run first. So I'm happy. |

Most don't win. There's no worse thing than finally having a good bonus round, and everyone around congratulating you on maybe getting back some of your original investment. But it's far from winning. Just like sports betting everyone talks up the great wins, and maybe a bad beat. But will stay quiet when they were on the blown out wrong side of a wager. I know I normally don't win. But I have good moments. But I can squeeze hours of play out of it, and earn my comps. Most sports wagers have around a 1 times (-110) pay schedule. If you win one, your happy and celebrate and cash the ticket. When people play slots, when they double their money, say like be up to $200 on a machine with an original $100 investment. They keep playing. Most seem to always be looking for a hand pay (over $1200) before they call it a win. Or maybe a 5 or 6 times the original wager if talking smaller amounts. If that's the goal, it's probably easier to try and hit a 4 or 5 teamer at 11/1 or 22 /1 than to sit at the machines. With the bonus of not having to fill out tax paperwork if you hit one. But it's just as hard.

The game was suspended, and will be played out on Friday in baltimore. Any full game bets should be refunded from what I know about gaming rules. But as of now, Rivers has yet to do it. So, I'm waiting and wondering????.. Pretty sure the rule says the game must be completed on day or something like that. I'm begging for the refund since I had wash and the under. So if things go correctly, thanks to the ground crew in washington!

If the rumors are true, and the NHL players vote the new playoff system in for this season, will sportsbooks pay for 'YES' for all 24 teams involved?? I know many books take yes/no action on if a team will make the playoffs. After last year with the Blues making a serious run against the odds and with big payouts, I only imagine there are more of these type tickets for alot of teams that had no chance to qualify. But have gotten a second life with the expansion of the playoffs. In the absence of a gaming rule, they would have to be graded YES correct??? |

I miss the rotation books, but would recommend just printing out the schedules provided on vsin.com. daily. They give the rotation sheets from the south point in the same form as the books did. |

they havent covered or talked about it on the broadcast. But there was no opening kick off. They haven't said if the ball will be moved up 10 yards to make the kicks the distance they need to be. Question answered , they kick from 10 yards further tonight.

the game should be no action, but have yet to see anyone post it. With the shorter field and the kicking rules changes, there is no way any O/U bettor could have known that. |

It got annoying quickly to me. He would yell he's open, and say ' oh he missed one'. Granted the QB was running the opposite direction. And from 3 lineman. I can hear all the wide receivers he used to throw to saying things like ' I was open too'. Because throwing off your backfoot, or across the field always turns out well.

The lines have been on the board for months. But not sure how many casinos leave them up during the preseason action.

I had no issues getting drink tickets at the westgate. Didn't even have to bet too much. Orleans also is ok, But more towards horse racing than sports.
