Don't play here guys. The people who run this site can not be trusted. I won $37 on here without ever making a deposit and decided to place a bet in the Sportsroom since they were offering a $50 freeplay Mobile bet for your first time bet. So I went ahead and made a bet and lost it. Since I lost the bet, I qualified for a $37 freeplay and went ahead and sent them an email. I get an email back from them saying I don't qualify since I never made a deposit. I checked the terms and conditions page and there is no mention at all of having to make a deposit to qualify. I than go online and talk to someone from betonline and they say you need to make a Real Money Wager in order to qualify. So I told them isn't US currency real money? The rep went on to bullshit and say that the money I had wasn't real money and that only money from deposits is real money. That makes no sense at all to say that money you win on the site isn't real money. Bet online can not be trusted, stay away from this scam site. |

Tom Izzo hates Michigan and will want to bury them any chance he gets. If Walton isn't playing than I don't give Michigan much of a chance of staying competitive. There will be too much inexperience on the floor playing away from home. Michigan will need to hit threes and Irvin will have to step up if they want to keep this close.
I expect Dawson to have a big game and Valentine gets going as well than this game could get ugly. |

Iowa matches up well against Wisconsin and I highly doubt Wisky shoots the 3 ball as well as Mich St did in the 2nd half against Iowa. That was truly unbelievable. Wisconsin definitely has an edge playing at home with Bo Ryan yelling and complaining to the officials like he always does though.

You don't own this thread so I can freely comment as I wish. I like how your calling me an idiot when Irishkid posted how ND had a streak of 45 games at home starting from back in 07 like it actually means anything. None of those players currently play on ND so that streak doesn't mean diddly squat if your referencing it towards this game. How am I an idiot by the way? I'd really like to hear it.

Aww the poor emotional baby got butthurt. Since your decided to be a big baby I'll answer my own question.
In that stretch from late 2006 to early 2009 Notre Dame manged to tally up that 45 at home game winning streak by beating the likes of: Lafayette The Citadel Leigh Winston-Salem Elon Portland Army Rider Stony Brook South Florida Depaul LIU Brooklyn Youngstown St Colgate Eastern Michigan Northern Illinois San Fransisco Brown North Florida Cincinnati(Who was awful in 2007-2008) Depaul(Again) St Johns(Who was awful in 07-08) South Carolina Upstat Furman South Dakota Boston University Delaware St Savannah St Seton Hall(Who was awful in 08-09) A lot of quality teams right there that they beat on their home floor |

Thanks for passing that info along Upside, but I'm still really confident with this pick. Having to play on the road in conference is never a sure thing, but I really like this Texas basketball team this year and I think Ok St is overvalued even at home. Even though there 11-3 right now this team is no where near as good as they were the last few seasons.

Yes that's exactly what I said. Their crowd is weak in terms of noise and that is understandable since their a small school. I could care less about a pointless stat showing how many #1 teams lost at a certain school. Teams are different ever year and schools with a certain ranking number losing to a particular school mean nothing.
I'm sure Coach Brey has a good homecourt record, the majority of college quality coaches almost have to be to be successful coaches. Would you mind coming back and telling me how many of those 45 wins in a row were against quality opponents? |

Nash is going to have a tougher than usual time scoring in this game with all of Texas's size. Holmes from Texas matches up really well against him. |

Texas got pounded last game against Oklahoma, but they played like absolute crap. The longhorns are a much more complete team who should absolute dominant the cowboys down low and on the glass. The only way Oklahoma St keeps it close is if Forte goes off and lights it up from deep.

Do you actually watch the games or do you strictly go off of stats? If
that's all you do that's not a good way to go about betting games. You
need to actually watch the games to get a feel of teams. Stats are just
there to use as an excuse or reason of why you bet a team. They don't
mean anything unless you actually watch the teams. Is the player hitting
contested and tough shots, is he scoring easily or getting open looks,
is he taking long twos(worse shot in basketball) is he scoring in the
paint or off dribble drives are all things you need to know. Sure things
like Ft%, and assist t/0 ratio mean something, but you have to dive
deeper into things like Field goal % and 3 point %.

Because other players will step up to fill the void. It happens all the time in basketball. Those two won't be able get off much shots from deep unless Illinois goes zone. Smotz is way too slow to cover hill. I remember his days at Michigan and man is he slow. It looks like his shot has gotten worse since he's left there too. Dez is a bit of a miss match with Rice out, but Illinois goes zone they can negate some of the dribble drive.

Layman and Smotz are not match up problems at all. Hill can defend them on the perimeter without a problem. Illinois won't lose much offensively with Rice out, what they will lose the most is his rebounding and defending. Kendrick Nunn will replace him in the lineup and he is a capable scorer. I'm not going to touch this game
