Had to respond to this post...simply because of the eloquence of its title...." two in the pink..." I miss college.

Razor--appreciate your work and respect your skill. I always check in to compare your thoughts to mine.
I don't normally post, let alone on someone else's thread...I just wanted to respond to some of the questions on the SMU play and thought I would add my 2 cents... Understanding that they lost to Tulane, last week...there were some positive take away...they held the ball for 40 minutes, accrued 471 yards (271 pssng/ 196 rushing), 29 first downs...They had multiple trips to the red zone, but were snakebitten and had to settle for FGs. Down 20-6 at the half, and 20-9 going into the 4th, they scored 17 straight....on the road. I know they let the win slip away late, and a loss, particularly to Tulane, stings. They have plenty of positive take aways to build on, and their performance in the 4th showed me they have character, and belief in themselves... think June, and Tommy Chang..( yes, the same QB form hawaii)....can workout the offensive kinks and capitalize in the red zone tonight..turning 3s to 7s. Additionally they are at home on a thursday night nationally televised ( though hidden behind, Oregon, and San Fran games, conveniently in my opinion)...Houston, as Razor said, is not the offensive juggernaut they were, but for the degenerates amongst the "general" betting public who "must" have action on every game, will conveniently assume otherwise. Adding this all up, SMU +5 earned my backing this evening. Last but not least, Razor.....though your new Avatar may be apropos...I "kinda" "sorta" "maybe" liked the previous one a little bit more... GL everyone. |

You can just come on here everyweek and tract the system and see for yourself. yesterday we had a great day....I'm not worried about going 0-4 at 1pm today cause it means nothing overall, just like if we go 4-0 it means nothing...I'm looking for long term profit. So, thank you for the work you do...for the others that may be reading this, 1st understand that this guy has an intention to make money, and he has found a LONG TERM system that has worked for him...and he has made a conscious decision to share it...with anyone that opens the threads. Hmmmm seems almost altruistic to me, and anyone who has that trait is Good in my book. I rarely post on covers because of the immature misplaced anger and misunderstanding of the intention of those people that have the courage to put their name on their picks. Keep that in mind before making judgments or making snide comments. Sports gambling is a LONG TERM investment, if you can't handle loosing, then I suggest doing some reading and educate yourself on this endeavor. Stay disciplined and keep your bets at a low % of you bank roll, haymakers will not work in the long run. Trust me been doing this longer than I haven't, and learned the hard way. There is going to be some Wins and Some losses...don't get to high and don't get to low. Stay up, Pork. Best of luck to all.

Lehigh has gone further then Missouri. There is nothing like the drama that comes from sports. I only played D-2 football but there is nothing like tournament play. Gotcha...and I agree. just not enough to play it. They call it "Madness" for a reason....one of the best times of year.

Nropp...Fantastic Job! Really appreciate all your hard work.
I could tell you not to listen to these children on this board, who get negative...but I got the feeling that you don't let "little" people get under your skin. (I must be getting older, because I wish Covers had an age limit)

Haven't seen Sienna play, but have seen Iona...that offense is full tilt. If you wouldn't mind letting me know your thought process. Green/Jorge....I would be on the same side with you guys...why are you backing IONA here?

Its that time of year...when the threads get "punchy". As has been stated, we are all the same side...playing against the books. Don't make this stuff personal, guys....we are on a website's thread for God's sake.
I come in here to read information, to find an angle and check in with the respected cappers opinions. All the fighting and bickering is needless. Quad is one of those cappers and I respect his opinion. And although I do agree with Sandman that teaser are less efficient approach than straight bets, and that most pros don't play them, that doesn't mean they don't work. With that being said, real pros, or grown ups for that matter don't use the "L-Word" and continue to do so after "the L-word" fails to come in....again and again.
Bet anyway you want, straight up, teasers, etc...if you think you can find an angle go for it. I wish everyone here the best of luck regardless of your play, BUT PLEASE don't take or make this stuff personal. It muddles the thread and creates a horrible atmosphere. If you are that attached to your opinion of a play or attached to being RIGHT...you have a lot more to worry about than winning the bet. I apologize if I have offended anyone by sharing, that was not my intention....I would be remiss if I didn't share though. I am just tired of the BS. There is enough of it in everyday life. |

Not only was this a "Lock" - this was your L.O.T.Y.
I have changed my tune on this game folks - no bet for me, but I will be cheering for Gang Green like I've never cheered for any team before......
J-E-T-S - - - JETS! JETS! JETS!
Quad, don't waste your time with this kid....because he is just that....a kid. (whatever you do don't call him "Dude"....in his part of the country they don't use that word....however they do use the work "lock"....as in sandman should be put to bed and "locked" in his room without dinner...maybe then he will learn some manners)

Well this is a tough pill to swallow, but as PortsDave said its just 1 loss and you can't win em all. So to the gentleman and women who are angered by the loss, you gotta let it go. Regardless if you make a play on your own accord, or choose to follow another capper, the onus for the decision to bet rests solely on your own shoulders. (Besides that if you followed BEE the entire year, you would be in the money-he is one of the best here on covers) and Texas did have value, even to my own "less than objective" opinion.
And who knows 4 unanswered TDs by the Horns, and we could back door it or push, pending on your number. Keep up the great work BEE.

I don't even know why i am betting on basketball, let alone the NBA before the playoffs start. had the over last night, and still can't rap my mind around the heat's, 31 or so points total in the 2nd half...at home...with a 20+ point lead....c'mon now?! anyway...not sure I can go near the heat or their games...actually despite my Longhorns logo, I am from Boston, and just hoping the Cs see them in playoffs, and dismantle that team. just had to get that off my chest. with all that being said, i am a degenerate and debating tonight's games. Hill played well against cleveland, making up for his previous game's performance. Granted he is no Parker, still though, Spurs at home, and the fact that the Heat can't beat a good team, coupled with my refueled hatred of the Heat makes me want to take the spurs to get it done. But as Next said....ACTORS! so may just stay away |
