Sharks ML/Over 5 parlay
1 unit to win 2.96 units Sharks are tying this series up tonight. They played better than the Blues and Elliot will not shut them down again. Also, the Blues have been notorious for not being able to take a significant lead in a series. They make everything difficult for themselves. Last total stayed below five and tonight the game will be more open.

Cubs TT over 5 at -110
1.3 units to win 1.13 units Anderson is a joke of a pitcher playing the best team in baseball. He will get shelled tonight. Time to turn this thing around heading into MLS tomorrow $$$$

MLS record: 1-3 (-3.62 units)
Other soccer leagues: 3-2 (+0.89 units) Other: 1-2 (-1.6 units) Really bad run of form right now. Derby County jump out to a 2-0 lead in the first half and thats how the game stays. United game is 1-0 in the 74' and ends 3-1?!? Ughhhh

MLS record: 1-3 (-3.62 units)
Other soccer leagues: 3-0 (+2.89 units) Other: 1-2 (-1.6 units) 2 afternoon plays: Derby County/Hull City over 2.75 goals at +105 1 unit to win 1.05 units Reasoning: Derby need goals badly after being embarrassed in the first leg. Hull City possess the capability to hit them on the counter. I see 2-1 result either way. Man United/Bournemouth under 2.75 goals at +100 1 unit to win 1 unit Reasoning: United are a boring team and Bournemouth struggle to put the ball in the back of the net themselves. With a cup final coming up in a few days for United, I don't see them getting up for this match too much.

NBA play:
Golden State Warrios -7.5 at -110 1.2 units to win 1.1 units Public is on the Thunder to cover after their upset of the Spurs. Westbrook has been running his mouth too. Warriors usually cover in game 1 and we will see their best game of the postseason tonight.

NHL play:
Pittsburgh Penguins ML and Over 5 goals in game
1 unit to win 1.72 units Reasoning: The Penguins will bounce back after being shut down in game 1. The game stayed under 5, the Penguins offense could not put more than one past Vasilevsky (who is a more than capable backup), and the Lightning played a great road game. Now, in game 2 the Penguins will be desperate to even up the series going back to Tampa. Malkin all but guaranteed a win on Monday so he will show up, Crosby needs to step up as well, and even if these two do not show Pittsburgh has enough depth to win this game. I expect a 4-2 or 4-3 win for the Pens. |

MLS record: 1-3 (-3.62 units)
Other soccer leagues: 3-0 (+2.89 units) Other: 0-1 (-1 unit) Brutal weekend in MLS for me. Looking forward to bouncing back on Wednesday with 2 games that are pretty appetizing. |

2 plays tonight:
Portland Timbers AH (-3/4) -115 at home against NYCFC 1.87 units to win 1.62 units Reasoning: NYCFC has actually found themselves a good run of form these last 3 games. On the flip side, Portland has been mediocre as of late and just played on Wednesday. So why am I taking Portland? Because this is how this league works. NYCFC is not as good as their recent run of form shows and they have to travel cross country to a stadium that is usually a fortress. Valeri, Nagbe, and Chara will boss the midfield and the NYCFC center backs will have no answer for Adi. I see a 2 or 3 to 1 victory for Portland in front of their amazing supporters. St. Louis Blues/San Jose Sharks to go to Overtime at +240 1 unit to win 2.4 units Reasoning: This is a speculative play as I have a little money to play around with this week. These teams are extremely evenly matched and strong in every facet of the game. Let's make some $$$$$ |

Montreal had many chances in the first 20 minutes that they should have put away to make it 2 or 3 nothing. Plays for tomorrow morning: Leicester City AH (+1/4) -110 1.68 units to win 1.53 units

One play tonight: Montreal Impact ML (-135) at home vs. Philadelphia Union 2.48 units to win 1.84 units Reasoning: Both teams sit at the top of the Eastern Conference. In my opinion, Philly is a pretender while Montreal is a contender. These teams are not as close quality-wise as their records suggest. In addition to this, the Union just played a game Wednesday while the Impact have had a week off and are coming off a huge result in Columbus. Montreal's home record is 2-1-1 while Philly is 1-3 on the road. This is my play of the day. 2 Leans: New England Revolution ML or AH but the odds are getting worse for us and I can't make this pick until I see if Kamara is starting for them or not. Toronto FC AH. Vancouver is traveling cross country after just playing midweek. Need to see the lineup first. |

Hello everyone, I am new to Covers. I'll be posting my MLS plays from here on out in this thread as well as a few other soccer plays in between. It is a tough league to cap, but I have been betting it for over a year now and have been able to hover around even or in the green most weeks. I look forward to hearing your opinions on my picks.
