They are the 2017 Oakland Raiders coming out of no where Well who are the good teams then? Pats, Steelers, Vikings, Saints? Who have any of them played? This comment is invalid and just plain old stupid. I'm a die hard Giants fan, hate the cowgirls/eagles. But Philly is legit. Have a great O Line, GREAT QB (who I see being the next Rodgers/Brady in a sense that its almost impossible to bet against them), solid skill players, good run game and their defense is legit. They have been BLOWING out teams. Any team minus Browns/49er's is really not a no body. Records are often deceiving. Now tell me who New England has beaten so far (who I think is the best team). I think its Pats/Steelers/Philly as the 3 best teams. 2nd tier Saints and Vikings. So go ahead and dissect Pats/Steelers/Saints/Vikings opponents records and I guarantee it is not any better then who the Eagles have played. I am not going to waste my time doing it cause I really don't care, but you are a clown if you think that Philly is overrated this year my friend.

The bills just suck. Same old story every year. Bolts were the "easiest" game on the NFL slate this week.

This line is at least 9.5 points off IMO. I would lean taking Sparty at +7.5 (where line should probably be at in this matchup at this point in season). Makes me scratch my head.. I don't totally get it either... the likelihood of OSU playing their best game of the season against MSU is minuscule. Not this game in this rivalry with the recent history. OSU had 1.5 good quarters against decent competition in their 3 biggest games of the year (Oklahoma, Penn State, Iowa). Same with Iowa/Wisconsin. All the pressure on the Badgers in a series where the 1st team to score 10 points usually wins
Not a good start. If Sparty doesn't put up some points on this drive it's going to get ugly quick. They go down 3 scores they're going to tap out quick. Knew it was a fishy line but I took the bait anyway. |

Michigan State +15 $250 Coach Dantonio has Sparty sitting back atop the Big Ten standings. Michigan State has won the last trips 2 Columbus SU and no game has been within 12 points since 2008. On the field the Spartans have found a weapon in WR Felton Davis III and are improving in the running game. Sparty has the #3 rush defense in the country. Ohio State has no consistency or identity on offense right now. Barrett trying to do too much has taken away from JK Dobbins production. Dobbins has averaged over 10 yards/carry in the first half of each of the last 2 games but has barely seen the ball after that. Only 6 carries last week after he started with 4 for 47 yards. The play calling has yet again failed OSU and the defense was embarrassed by Iowa. Sparty is the last team you want to see when things aren't going right. Michigan State ML +480 100/480 They've been here before but usually playing spoiler. This time the roles are reversed but the odds are the same. MSU will play with confidence and a purpose, they will not be intimidated by the crowd or the opposing team. On Sparty +17. Line is so sketch but impossible not to take the points here. I get OSU coming off being embarrassed and Sparty off another big upset win. But 17 in this game, and climbing, currently 17.5. Makes no sense? Any idea why this line is where its at? I don't think Virginia will have any trouble putting up points vs Louisville, Should be a mid 30's game. Public loving Louisville this week so I'm going to wait and see if it creeps closer to 2 scores before game time. Missouri -12 Tennesse is just a mess. Been fading them for the last month or so. Teams are going in 2 totally different directions. Missou won't have any trouble moving the ball. Tennessee on the other hand will. Give me a few stops and a turnover or two and I think Missouri covers pretty easily here. Oh and...Lets go IRISH

Georgia -2.5 I usually always take the home dogs in big games but not in this one. I just think Georgia is the much better team on both sides of the ball. And have the better coach. This game will be very close, so taking the points here is probably safer, but I think Georgia will end up taking it by an off number (5) or something. Stidham has struggled this year against the 2 solid defenses he's faced (LSU + Clemson) and he will have to make a few big plays if they want to win. I'm only wagering this game because it's the only game worth watching at 3:30. Small play for me here on the Bulldogs -2.5
Miss State +14 This is probably the smallest spread Bama will have to cover this year until the playoffs. And it will probably be similar. Hate betting vs Bama as they tend to just wear teams down providing late covers. I also think they are the best team in the country, As dominant as they are every year, there's always a game that gives them issues and tests their will and adversity and makes them play 4 quarters of competitive football. I think it's this week. Down 2 starting linebackers due to injury, although I'm sure their backups could probably start anywhere else in the country but this is a significant loss. Fitzgerald duel threat QB also usually Bama's kryptonite. If he doesn't turn the ball over I think they keep it close. It's either going to be an exciting last score wins game or Bama just steam rolls them like they are capable of doing to ANYONE at any given Saturday. Give me the cowbells and the 2 td's.

BC +3 I've been on NC State the last 2 weeks but this week I'm going with the hot hand. BC has resurrected their season over the last few weeks and playing with a ton of confidence. Mix that in with NC State coming off 2 physically and emotionally tough losses, you wonder how much energy they'll have coming into this one. BC has historically played NC State tough as well over the last few years. If BC gets off to a fast start I think they could end up running away with this one. Similar to the FSU vs BC game. I'll take my chance and take the home dog here +3.

Iowa State +7 Love the coach, defense is legit, QB is game manager and they have 2 solid targets at WR. I think they stay in this one from the get go, wouldn't be shocked to see them pull off another SU win as a dog vs ranked opponent. OK State off tough loss vs OK how will they rebound? Some injury concerns as well on offensive side. Give me the 7 points in what should be a good one to kick off Saturday.
TCU +7 Hard to bet against Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma's offense. But again I'm going to take the TD here. TCU defense is legit and their offense is way good enough to put up points against OK suspect D. I watched the highlights of TCU vs OK State and TCU manhandled them. Game was no where near as close as final score. They harassed Rudolph all game. Patterson is up there as one of the top coaches in CFB, he'll give Mayfield his toughest test of the year. Ok. could very easily cover this spread with their offensive firepower, but the only way I see them doing that is if TCU shoots themselves in the foot with turnovers. Should be another good one.

Cuse +1 - This game SHOULD be close (3-7 points) in either direction. But I'll gladly take the home dog this tear. Cuse off 2 tough losses on the road and back home in the dome. If you follow college sports it's always a tough atmosphere for road teams whether in hoops or FB. Believe it or not Cuse defense actually is allowing over 50 yards per game less then Wake, whose defense is usually its strong point. I like Dungey (except for when he threw 4 early pics vs Miami a few weeks ago!) and between Phillips and Ishmael they're about as good as it gets for a CFB WR tandem. Cuse shouldn't have any problem scoring, and I think Wake will put up their fair share of points as well, but I'll take Cuse as home dogs.
Sparty +17 Wow this line is blowing my mind. I don't think anyone knows why it is this high. Usually I don't fall for these types of traps (or I tell myself I won't) but really. I would have considered taking Sparty at +10. I get Sparty off big win at home vs. Penn State an Ohio State embarrassed last week so they will be fired up to get right. But this game is always close, and I think these teams are pretty evenly matched. We might all be suckers on this one but I have to take +17 points in this game 100/100 times..

At first look I wasn't too thrilled with this weeks card but the more research I did the more I began to like it. Love this time of the year. Great matchups this weekend, and glad a bunch of big games are spread out. Hopefully my Irish don't lay an egg tomorrow night. I'm bak on a lot of dogs tomorrow. Will post locked in plays now. Back on some dogs right now. Will post analysis in a bit.
Cuse +1 Sparty +17 Iowa State +7 (hook) TCU +7 (hook) Georgia -2.5 Miss State +14 BC +3 Might have a few more leans/plays/tease will post more in a few. BOL as always fellas. |

Bills best play of the weekend. Going to cold and snowy (maybe just flurries) but typical Buffalo winter weather. Saints/Brees tend to struggle in these types of games.
Also under in Green Bay/Chicago. 16-13 type game. Won't be much offense in this one. Bears D legit vs. banged up Green Bay offense + Hundley. Also other end Chicago won't light up the scoreboard. Lock em in and BOL. |
