Be careful with Dayton in this spot. They haven't played very good defense this year. They lost 3 of their top 4 defenders from last year's squad. Teams have figured out how to beat Dayton. They limit their possessions and make them score in a half court offense which is not their strength. Juwan Staten, their stud freshman point will also be playing injured in this game if he plays at all. Haven't seen a total yet, but I think this total is around 110. |

Ok, you guys convinced me to lay off of it.. Wasn't loving the over, because I have no idea what to expect from St. John's in this 2nd half.

I have under 126.. Anyone think the over 66.5 2nd half is worth the shot at a middle? I mean, it is a 15.5 point range and I'm liking that...

I couldn't care less at who Pokeyjabroni has tonight or slapapotomus's lock of the year. It's UNC's thread and I want UNC's picks. I appreciate your hard work UNC and sorry for adding to the clutter. |

I'm a Dayton season ticket holder and I would be very careful with this game. I think odds makers have nailed this line. Don't underestimate home court in this game. This game will be a sellout and the fans know Dayton needs this win. Dayton is riding a 30 game home winning streak, good for 3rd in the nation. Dayton is coming off a loss (St. Joe's) that is their only loss outside of the RPI top 20 all year. Rhode Island is a very good team and this game should be another close win for Dayton. Dayton has a great record in games decided by 6 points or less over the last couple years. The Flyers have great senior leadership and I think this is a bounce-back spot for Dayton at home. In addition, they have St. Bonaventure on deck, so really not a "look ahead" game. Just my 2 cents, BOL |

This is more of a play against Georgia Tech than a play for Virginia. I don't trust Ga. Tech away from home. They have yet to encounter a true road test with a high quality opponent. They have to be riding high from their win at home over Duke, but they head to UNC this weekend and I expect them to be sharper against UNC than Virginia. I am not sold on Georgia Tech and feel they are a bit over-rated at this point in the season. Virginia's guard play is superior and will ultimately help them prevail.
