Best contrarian play on the board. |

@IntenseOperator Thanks, man. Always like good feedback. There's two sides to every coin. You never know what will happen in baseball. Look at yesterday. KC scores 9 in the 1st vs. Houston. Oakland throws a 1 hit shutout vs. the world champs. Go figure. Tonight, Goldy could go off big time when he gets back to the desert. You gotta be about half crazy to try to predict a baseball game anyway. I qualify in that respect. One note: The former two games you mentioned, the Snakes didn't have Suarez and Newman in the line-up. Both have solid numbers vs. Matz. Throw in Walker, Marte, Grichuk, Guriel, and the kid Alexander and that's a pretty good match-up against any lefty. And Carroll can hit anybody. Cards won't get anywhere near that kind of hitter/pitcher match-up tonight. Don't post often, but that's why I posted this play. BOL, RT2

...Arizona -118. Dbacks 2nd best vs. LHP with .301 BA/.820 OPS. Lead the league in HRs vs. LHP. They are familiar with Matz, over 40 PAs; Cards have never faced Pfaadt. Don't be fooled by the ERA difference in this pitching match-up. Last time out, Matz faced the worst offense at home, Miami. Pfaadt faced the best on the road, Atlanta. Cards need Goldy and Walker get it going for them to score. Both started the season in a slump, both with sub .200 BA. That's unreal for Goldy. Maybe they won't break out tonight. BOL, RT2 |

@umgmu Not my business, i know, but I can testify this to be a fact--if you quit betting totals, your bankroll will love it. |

@diondimucci Has to be a getaway game for the home team also. |

Kyle Schwarber vs. RHP---.040 BA/25 PAs...OPS .143. That's smoking it from the lead off spot. How can you expect to win a baseball game with such absence of production from No.1? It's amazing the Phillies are 6-6. |

@Kaufee That will equal out over a season; you'll win some that seemed hopeless after 5. Plus, the problem with betting 1st 5 is that the books are sneaky about juicing the number an extra 5 or 10 cents which will cut into your profit in the long run. Also something to think about! |

@Kaufee Good luck...you'll probably cash. Nice pitching edge with Crawford. I made the decision at start of season not to fade the O's against any righty. Just sticking with it. |

Pitching edge is definitely with the Sox. Plus, not many players come out of Okeechobee, Crawford's home town. Despite pitching edge, I laid off the Sox tonight. Reasons: --O's have a great left-handed offense. They can bang any righty. --Boston's line-up is not that strong. They had a great west coast trip to start the season but it was against the A's, Angels and Mariners. BOL RT2 |

Eazy peazy win. Always neat to have one of those once in a while. |

Edge on the mound...that's why. |

@xinstory1990 Pitching to the lefty Carpenter was a huge mistake. Put him on and pitch to Baez, who is an all-time sucker for a slider. That was the manager's bonehead move. |

Another stat: Detroit no.1 in MLB in scoring runs 9th inning or later. They lived up to that ranking today. |

@Michigan_D It's his money. Why are you so worried about it? |

He's been lights out...career WHIP .112. He just had a bad day. Even Mitch Williams would blow a save every once in a while. |

Additionally, he has impressive numbers against the current lineup holding the hitters to a .182 batting average and a .510 slugging percentage.
Where are you getting this info? Thanks. |

Correction...this entire forum is on Oregon...if you're looking for a contrarian play, bet South Carolina. |

Wagner with better rated defense. Howard is in the bottom 10 at turnovers per possession, turning the ball over 20.8 % of the time. That would scare me, especially playing on a neutral floor. |

UCF -4.5...you might wanta get you some of that. |

Haven't capped the games yet. But first glance, I don't recall a more wide open tournament. Gonna be lots of upsets IMHO. Every No.1 and No. 2 is beatable after the first round. I think we'll get a surprise team for the winner this year. |
