Man do not change do to my questioning. I could easily be wrong. I will sometimes ask questions just to get further insight. I am a hot and cold player. I can easily go 5-11 or 14-2 in any given week.

Do you think that with all that has gone on in Denver with the HC struting his **** and benching 2 players that he needs to win this game that they will cover this spread? I was all over Denver and was going to bet them as my survivor selection in a SU pool but after seeing what was going on backed off selecting them in the survivor and then changed to KCC covering the spread in my ats pool. You think DEN is still a solid play?

My lord, I wish I was in your league. I have 133 wins and I am in second place 7 games out of first with another guy tied with me at 133, 3rd with 132, and 4th with 131. In your league I would be counting the money already. In my league, which pays for the first 3 places, I may not even cash out. My selections, which I have not yet placed (so if anyone wants to talk me out of any of these feel free to attempt to do so, LOL): BUF +3.5 CAR -7.5 CLE -3.5 PHI +3.5 CHI -4.5 NEP +7.5 PIT +1.5 MIN -4.5 TEN -5.5 SFO -7.5 TBB -1.5 GBP +3.5 KCC +12.5 BAL -10.5 SDC -7.5 NYJ -8.5 My point spreads are posted by the league wsebmaster on Monday evenings so they are going to differ from the live spreads you guys use. |

I have been reading posts here for several years and really enjoy and appreciate the members who detail their reasons for their selections. I am not a high roller. I just play some office pools with modest buy ins and decent payoffs. I am in 2nd place in the pool I play ats. Hard to say if I will cash in, pays for top 3, but there are 5 of us fighting for the top 3 and I have no idea how this week will wash out. Tough week for me to read. I am also in a straight up pool. In this pool there is a survivor pool where I am tied with 2 others and depending on the outcome of the other 2 players selections, if the team I select wins this week I could win anywhere from 157.00 to 470.00. I would never go on to a forum and on the first post be bold enough to ask a favor, but having just lost my job December 18th (business closed its doors), I am in desperate need to try and get a cut of this pot. I am going to need it to help survive until I can try and find a job (difficult for someone my age and poor health). Like I said, this is straight up, no spread, and need to pick the winner. The teams I have remaining that I have not used to date are: ATL, BUF, CAR, CLE, DAL, DEN, DET, JAX, KCC, MIA, NEP, NYJ, OAK, STL, TBB, & WAS. I was thinking DEN but then I hear all the talk about Marshall & Scheffler being sat by their idiotic HC and I am getting the shakes. I expected KC keep it closer than the spread but will they win outright? Is DEN still my safest choice? I certainly would appreciate it if anyone would give me their opinions. I know the final call is mine but it would be nice to get some advice with reasoning behind the advice. Thanks again to everyone for all the great posts and I hope all of you have a great New Years. Good Luck with your wagers this week!
