I'm all in on Barca at +125.
Anybody know where I can watch this online for free? |

I just started getting into soccer betting this world cup, and I have to bet on the game that's on TV tonight. I let my whole account ride on Man City to beat Sporting CP. Laying -150 juice. How nervous should I be?

OK I just looked at my local TV listings and I see Real Madrid vs. Barcelona on ESPN Deportes! Do you think ESPN Deportes showed this game live, whenever it was? I wish this channel was HD.

how many matches per week does ESPN Deportes show? ball park estimate. I am new to following this sport, but I think La Liga is what I want to watch the most. Does ESPN Deportes show La Liga?

I fell in love with betting on this sport during this world cup. I live in USA and I'm wondering how I can watch matches from around the world. My local cable company doesn't offer any soccer channel. Direct TV has Fox Soccer Plus, for an extra 15 bucks a month, but I don't really want to sign up with Direct TV and get a satellite dish and all that just to get one soccer channel. The other option I have heard about is streaming games on the internet. Is that how most of the USA based Covers guys who post in this forum are watching these games? How good is the quality? What is the best website to do this?
Also, what is the best sportsbook to use for betting on soccer? I just started at Matchbook.com but all they have is MLS and like one South American league, at this time. |

you could just as easily say the refs helped Portugal by not calling the takedown in the box in the first few minutes.

I can't send my money to a new book in time for this game |

my book has -162. I'm curious to know how that compares with prices elsewhere. What are you all seeing?

WCFields, why is Spain behind those teams?
-200 is a great price. It has to be higher than that at most places.. I am very confident they win in regulation, but it's hard to pay upwards of -250 when a 0-0 score is always possible. |

thanks for that link, Van. I see I started this thread in the wrong forum. By the way, I am embarrassed about saying in one of your threads that Torres approaches top form today. He wasn't even close, haha.

My book processes payouts in maximum increments of $3,000. I am thinking about doing a payout for 3k in one check. Is this wise? or would it be safer to cash out smaller amounts at a time. Would I have to get audited before the IRS would ever look at this income in my bank history? Should I voluntarily pay taxes on it? Is there anything to worry about with big checks from overseas?

hate to see you on Portugal, Van. I feel better about my plays when you agree. Can't say I feel any worse about this one though.. Torres approaches top form tomorrow

nice win BigGuy!
I am in favor of letting it all ride on Spain by the way. I just sent in that shit to Bodog a week or 2 ago and got my first payout ever from them today. You need a scanner and a printer and it's pretty simple from there. Bodog has nice futures value from time to time. And sometimes when a side is favored heavier on Bodog you can get better value on the opposing side than you can find at other places. |

The Spanish players stand to each win a greater monetary bonus for winning the cup than the players of any other team contending.

You are correct 9wings. Most important is when to get the price, like you said. Some books tax the hell out of you with their odds and prices on games, but offer nice futures value from time to time. I would say the best thing to do is operate with as many different books as you can, no?

If he he hadn't come out of the box Torres would have had a great chance to score.

I don't think it was a horrible mistake by the goal keeper. When Fernando Torres has a one on one breakaway the keeper has a decision to make. I thought Villa's goal on the open net was magnificant, from that distance. |

How did the 2-1 win show apparent weaknesses in the Spanish side? They got a 2-0 lead in the middle of the first half and dominated the rest of the game. Chile's goal was a fluke deflection.
