Love the Buffalo pick. Johnny U? Really? He didn't play for the Phins? |

Not unless the NCAA institutes double headers.

Thanks.
It just seems too obvious. WAZZU can't won't run with them, unlike UNC's previous competion.

Like 'em all. Xavier is by far the best play of the day.

With you on the UT game. I think the Vols have the sand to get to the Final Four. Their schedule this season was no joke.

Xavier +1 over WVA
Great run by the Mountaineers....sorry it's over. They beat an over rated Duke team and and Arizona team that shouldn't have been in the tourney. Xavier won in a difficult A10 this season. WVA poor free thow shooting will cost them as well.
WVA 66
Xavier 76
UNC-WSU under 142.5
I know. I know. I know. UNC scores more the some NBA teams. Wazzu is too well coached and too diciplined to let this game get out of hand. I think it will be close for the most part. The Cougars will play smart ball offensively and limit UNC's possessions. Defensively they are in your face from whistle to whistle.
WSU 59
UNC 69
UT-UL over anything
Bruce Pearl said he's not going to make this a track meet. OK, so it will be an invitational. Dogs like to run. Horses like to run. The Vols like to run. I think they like to win too. If they want to win, they'll run. These two coaches are ecomaniacal enought to lace up the track shoes in this one. Pittino's willing to put his horses up against Pearl's

You don't have to be in someone's top ten to be a good team or have a good game or play someone having a bad game.
A&M nearly beat a team (playing a home game) that many consider to be the best team in the country.
So much of the tourney comes down to three things coming together:
* Coaching
* A team that's on a hot streak
* Match ups
There's a reason Izzo, Krzyzewski and Roy Williams keep making it to Final Fours.

Adding....
Villanova -5 over Sienna
Wildcats are looking good down the stretch. Sienna should be overworked and have a little too much Big East on their plate with this one. Sienna beat Vandy team that does not play well away from their home court.
Sienna 70
Villanova 82

I'm guessing you must have a perfect bracket at this point.
MSU is not a bad team. Izzo can coach come tourney time. We all know what wins tourney games....veteran guard play. Drew Neitzel anyone. The Spartans have just as good a chance as anyone to get to the Final Four.
And speaking of the number four...did you know that NO player who has played all four years for Tom Izzo has not gone to the Final Four?

I like the under. I don't see how Arkansas can put up 70+ points and if this game's going over, they'll need 70+. They're smart enough to use most of the 35 second clock and keep the ball out of UNC's hands as much as possible.
No UNC triple digit game on Sunday.

Arkansas/UNC under 158
We all know who the better team is in this matchup, but the Razorbacks willl keep this one close until the end. They're smart enough not to attack and give UNC the ball back (unlike Mt St Mary's). The Heels pull away down the stretch, but not enough to pull over the total.
ARK 67
UNC 82
Tenn/Butler over 139
These two played each other last season in the pre season NIT. Don't know if it was bad food from the hot dog vendor on the corner by the Garden or what but these two teams shot like crap. Not going to happen again. I would think the total should be more in line with that of the ARK/UNC game (in the 150s). Tennessee should win this (not going to venture a wager on the side). The Vols have shot better from the charity stripe as of late and that could factor in.
Butler 71
Tenn 77
SD +5.5 over WKU
Don't sleep on the Toreros! This team is nice. They are talented. They are athletic. They play tough D. The Hilltoppers are over matched in this one (please see ND-Wash St for details). San Diego wins this one outright. Western Kentucky was fortunate to get past an over seeded Drake team. SD 69
WKU 59

Well in that case, we should cancel the first two weeks of the tourney.

Wazzu/Winthrop over 112
This line has been bet down (too far) since it opened at 115. The Cougars should be up by 8-10 down the stretch and when Winthrop starts fouling Wazzu can hit their free throws (73% as a team) and put the game over the total.
Winthrop 51
Wash St 70
CS Fullerton +12 v Wisconsin
No doubt that the Badgers win this one, but the dirty dozen is too much here. Wisconsin had a nice run down the stretch but don't be fooled by the fact that it was against a weaker Big10 this year. The Titans 3's and high powered O will keep them close.
CS Fullerton 66
Wisconsin 74
Kansas/Portland St over 145
It really won't be worth watching, but the points will be piling up. Kansas has too many weapons and are playing close to home. PSU can put up some number and will get scores in garbage time (most of the second half).
Portland St 73
Kansas 91
As always, happy hunting, boys.

As a Cardinal alum, let me remind you of the turmoil the program is going through right now. They don't have a full roster of scholarship players. I would stay away from the Cardinals all year.

If the Chiefs (and or Larry Johnson) had no plans on playing Larry Johnson the rest of the season, why didn't they just put him on IR? It would appear that week 17 will come and go without him seeing the field again. Couldn't the Chiefs use that roster spot on one of the extras from Hard Knocks?

Honestly, how many current Rams really give a rat's rear about Faulk? Bruce and Holt have been there with him, but other than that, any one of significance? Will Marshall's number being retired in the rafters help the O Line block?
The Bears retired Dick Butkus', and Gayle Sayer's jersey at halftime of a Monday nighter in '94 against the Packers. Final score : Packers 33 Bears 6.

Which NFL player threw the game losing INT, then ran off the field crying without shaking hands in last year's AFC title game?
in Penalty Box 10th?
Does this ass even deserve to have anyone post on his thread?
If you think Brady is tenth best, then you don't watch football, or as you might call it futbol de norte americanos.

I'll vote A.
He's a showman. Is that wrong? Walter Payton was being a show man when he did his "show pony kick" on the way to a TD. LT is being a showman when he puts his hand behind his head and lays the football up after a TD. I can't think of two more classy individuals that have played in the NFL. Ocho Cinco is no where near their level of classiness, but he's not demening anyone. They are individual celebrations. They're very creative. I think they're hilarious. The game can use as many personalities as are available. It makes for great water cooler talk.
If you want to find someone to rail on, try Jake Delhomme and his constant whinning on a perceived defensive pass interference against one of his receivers. That guy drives me nuts.
