Record (1-1) It is still too damn early for a good write up but I think we'll see a lot out of this week. Write ups will come next week! Min -2.5 My 2 cents... Minnesota a ROAD FAVORITE?! Vegas is smoking trees right now! We saw a really nice outing for AP last week and I know he isn't going to slow down. Just need Ponder to be the qb that the organization anticipated him to be. He didn't do bad last week going 20-27 for 270 yrds but 0 tds. AP was the designated finisher at the goal line and he did his job. I don't wanna see Frazier passing the ball in this area and I'm sure he learned his lesson last week having to settle for a field goal when AP could have easily added another td to his name. I like Luck a lot! Hell he's my qb for fantasy but he doesn't look like he can do it all by himself. STILL TOO EARLY TO TELL. Indy has some key injuries as well. Freeney and Angerer are out and that means their defense will suffer again allowing 314 through the air and 114 on the ground. Look for Peterson to get the ball inside the red zone and Ponder to take advantage of a suffering defense. |

Like Dallas! Cowboys look like they're packin a lot of heat this year. I'm going to ride them until Vegas decides to blow the points up.

Tb+3 Taking the home dogs here. Freeman and Vincent Jackson are making moves and I like the 2 back tandum between Martin and Blount. I'm expecting a tough game w/ both teams answering each other. Lets go Bucs! |

Record (0-0) Min-3.5 My 2 Cents... Let me start by saying that MN is the way to go! I will play Minny at HOME against the Jags in their season opener. AP gets the green light and is always cause for concern for opposing teams. This, along w/ a re-built offensive line, will hopefully give Ponder some breathing room to make plays downfield. Very light reasoning here for my first pick of the season but it's only because I'm a Minny Boy and really like this pick. BOL and lets get this season rolling! |

Record (14-21-3) Bal-10 My 2 cents... Going with the public here. I feel like Baltimore can create a shut out in this matchup. Not as ridiculous as last night but just as convincing. Gabbert is an average joe in my opinion. He is way too conservative and it's his inability to make plays that the Jags have a 1-5 record. Their defense has been holding their own for the most part ranking 9th overall. As good as MJD is, there has to be some production out of the pass game. Is Sims-Walker the answer to that? I think not, he accounted for just 43 rec for 562yrds (nothing impressive). How do you benefit from adding receivers when you don't have the quarterback to get the ball to him? I don't have to say too much about Baltimore. Still dominant defensively ranked 3rd overall (4 defensive tds) and they get the pleasure of playing against Jacksonvilles dead-last ranked offense. The offense is doing well too. Flacco has 7tds and the run game is ranked 12th. I'm bashing Gabbert a lot here but rightfully so. He is an average qb up against one of the best defenses. Expecting a Sunday Night repeat. |

I don't see any production outside of MJD for the jags. Gabbert is not the qb that everyone wants him to be and I don't like either of these two receivers. I think the best thing the jags have going for them is the 10pts and that probably wont be enough. Otherside but GL. |

Record(12-17-3) Oak-3.5 My 2 cents... I believe that this matchup has 1 huge x factor to it. The game should depend on the performance of whoever is at QB for Oakland. It will either be Palmer or Boller. I don’t expect them to air the ball out, that isn’t what Oakland is about. RunDMC is the focal point of their offense. The QB is the facilitator. He needs to make sure that the ball is not turned over. As long as that can be accomplished, I don’t think that KC’s 21st run defense will give McFadden much trouble. KC has given up 6tds on the ground however, they have only allowed 3 runs over 20yrds. McFadden himself has 8 +20 rushes. Given another week, I would feel very comfortable with Palmer but since that is not the case, I just ask that he takes care of the ball. Boller is a toss up but I feel comfortable with these qbs in this situation. Matt Cassel really hasn’t done anything for this team this season. He has 945yrds 8tds 5ints. Sounds decent but remind you that 4 of these tds came against their win against 0-6 Indianapolis. Their other win came against then-winless Minnesota. They have no identity in the backfield mixing it up with Jones and McCluster. There isn’t an offense to make this team threatening. RunDMC will have a huge day on the ground |

SD I think there's enough reasoning behind a big win for them. Gates and Matthews provide a lot of explosiveness for them and the SD defense has the means for keeping the jets in check.
