We all would agree there is no way the best college team would beat the
worst pro team in football and the nba and the other sports though
baseball might be a bit close if they have an outstanding pitcher on the
mound.
But i am curious. Would you guys say the best high school football/basketball team could beat the worst division 1 college team? I would assume the answer is hell no? I think the worst team in Division 1 college basketball is some team called New Jersey Institute of technology where they lost like 42 games in a row i recall a few years ago. What about a division 2 or division 3 school? I mean most players who play basketball/football but are not that good do play for their division III team. And these players are not really that good but good enough for the team. I think one of the best high school basketball teams every year is Oak Hill Academy and many pro NBA players went there such as Carmelo, Stephen Jackson and just a number of other players when they were in high school. Would you guys say a team like that have a good chance at beating NJIT and the other worst division 1 teams? I really think that they would have a good shot at beating a Division 3 team because most guys on that team were never that good in high school and were just role players back in high school. I'm pretty sure football would be a lot harder for the high school team and they probably wouldn't stand a chance. But if the high school team has many potential NBA players or the high school football team has many good players who would be able to play at the top schools, don't you think they would have an okay shot at beating a Division 3 college team? I know the whole high school team would not be an all star team but wouldn't they have some kind of a shot since they have a couple of stars players? Thoughts? |

What would be the line if a Triple A baseball team faced the Seattle Mariners?
in MLB Betting
Seattle Mariners are the worst team in baseball last year. Their
offense is the most pathetic team i ever seen. I know in minor league
baseball they have A, AA and AAA. I heard someone said that most of the
minor league players would not bat past the mendoza line which is .200.
Now i don't know anything about minor league teams or the players. But if you take the best AAA team and have them play against the Seattle Mariners, what would the line be? Now, of course the Starting Pitcher won't be King Felix but let say its Rowland Smith. He's the worst starting pitcher in baseball i think this year with a record of 1-10 and 6 ERA i think. What would be the line for this game versus the best AAA team with their best starting pitcher against the Mariners? I also noticed that in international baseball, the lines are not actually regular lines. I think i saw 2 teams in the world baseball classic and the line was something along one team -5 runs with -115 juice. This Mariners team is really pathetic offensively. Every player in their squad hits below .250 besides Ichiro. I know 1 game doesn't prove much but if they play a 3 game series, would it be pretty certain the Mariners win all 3 even if Felix doesn't pitch in any of those games? What would the score be around? |

The good thing about BetJamaica
is that they allow 1 free withdraw a month. The greek withdraw by
checks are $10 by regular mail from what i recall. I think betjamaica
lines are a bit better i think.
I always hear people say for bigger players go with thegreek and go with betjamaica if you are a small to average bettor. What do you guys classify as a big bettor in terms of amount per game? Because when i checked out their wagering limits, i see that the maximum wager you can make on an NFL spread is $5,000 and $3,000 for a total. However with the greek, its $3,000 and only $1,000 for a total. Even for MLB both books have a maximum wager for $3000 on the moneyline. I am confused to why people say that thegreek is for big players and betjamaica the sister site is for smaller players and recreational players and the limits are pretty similar and betjamaica has higher limits than the greek for NFL which is probably the sport where the most money is wagered. |

I wanted to know do athletes on a team know every player's name on the
opposing team? I'm talking about mainly the NFL because there are 11
starters on the offense and 11 on the defense but another 31 players
that includes kickers, and backups.
You see how after players say good game and give them a handshake after every game and i wanted to know, are there some players like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning that shakes hands with some other players on the other team and NOT know his name? Or if you are a starting wide receiver and suddenly they put bench player to play against him on cornerback. Is there any way the guy might not even know who the other guy is? of course in the NBA, i'm pretty sure they know every other guy's name on the other team because there is at most 14 players on the other teams roster even though that guy might not play any minutes but unless that player got picked up recently... i would assume kobe bryant would still know that guy in the bobcats bench right? |

I checked and see that Tulsa had the worst record in the WNBA this year.
I am not sure who is the worst team in the WNBA the last few years but
given that UCONN women has been the best college women basketball team
for some time, does anyone think they can beat the worst WNBA Team?
I know college teams don't stand a chance against a pro team in sports like football or basketball but we all know how dominant UCONN Women's basketball is. What would be the spread of this game assuming its played with say college rules? Also, the 3 point line in women college basketball and the WNBA is the same right? |

Hey guys, i'm wondering. If the nba had an event where they had
numeroous players participate in a 1 on 1 event, who do you guys say
would be the favorite to win. They have these things for streetball i
know. Of course it could in the basketball arena or outside with say game being 11
points. Every shot is 1 point. Who would you guys say would dominate
this contest? I have to go with
1. Kobe 2. Lebron 3. Wade But would you guys agree that a guard would be in a big disadvantage if he was up against a forward or center? For example, if you have Steve Nash who is 6'1 playing 1 on 1 against a 6'10 Tim Duncan, would you guys agree Nash has no shot because of the height disadvantage? Duncan can just back down Nash every single time and score and even if he misses, Nash would have a horrible time even trying to get the rebound. But if Nash has the ball, then he could just dribble around and Duncan would be very tired. Do you guys say like some of those streetball guys could beat NBA players in a 1 on 1 game? There was this guy who won the 1 on 1 event at MSG and his name is Corey "Homicide" Williams. I know is around 6'4 or so and is a guard and did try out for some nba teams but never made it. But he destroyed the 1 on 1 competition. Would it be right or wrong for me to assume he would destroy some nba players 1 on 1? I mean in the nba, you have guys like Kyle Korver and JJ Redick who don't do anything but wait around the 3 point line and shoot 3s. I would think they would get beat in a 1 on 1 game though. I mean these guys are in the NBA because of what they do best, such as shooting or defense etc. I mean if it was Ron Artest, he would easily win because he is one of the best defenders in the league. But I feel like lot of these nba players in the league are soft and many of them are just jump shooters and don't play hard. Even Ray Allen for example is a greatshooter but if he had to play a 1 on 1 game, would he still destroy a really good 1 on 1 player that is NOT in the nba? |

How in the world is he listed at 6'4?
I am pretty sure this guy is no where near his 6'4 listing. He doesn't even look any taller than players listed at 6'2. The other guy i found funny is Delonte West. They list him at 6'4 yet Rondo who is listed as 6'1 is CLEARLY TALLER than him when the Cavs played against the Celtics a few years ago.. Anyone know what is Shannon Brown's real height? |

i agree Atlgettingpaper. But is there a reason Walton is in the Lakers roster for all this time? I mean if a guy is not a good player, he usually get cut off the team pretty quickly. How is this guy in the lakers for so many years?

The players that come to my mind that should not be in the nba are
Luke Walton Steve Blake Shannon Brown. I know Shannon Brown was in the D-League a few years ago but does anyone think this guy should not be in the nba? I mean Shannon Brown has hops and can jump very high but this guy doesn't look like a confident player. He is a dunker with hops and nothing else. He can't shoot nor has any defense. What is weird about this is these guys that i thought shouldn't be in the NBA are in the lakers which are the best team in the league. But how are these 3 guys in the league let alone play for the Lakers? Luke Walton cannot do anything and Blake was only good in Maryland. He has done nothing in the nba. He can't shoot nor play any defense and is a scrub. Are you guys telling me the 3 best players in the D-League are not better than these 3 scrubs? I am pretty sure some bench players in some nba teams are much much better than these 3 so how in the world are these guys on the Laker's roster? |
