I have been noticing something lately. Lastnight there were 4 NBA games where the betting trends on the total was over 80% on the total going OVER. Dallas @ Orlando 204 under 95-85F (under 20+) Miami @ Memphis 188 100-87F 2/OT was much under if no OT Atlanta @ Phoenix 212 88-80 (under 40+) Utah @ Golden State 220 100-89 (under 30+) The Orlando and Phoenix game the consensus was over 90% on the over. I track this data at about 6pm est so the consensus in on much more people than if I track it earlier in the day. This is the first time I actually took some time to track this data because in the past i did follow this consensus and came up empty every single time. I have no answer for this and don't want to speculate on anything. But I am going to start going against these trends and see how it pays off. I may post them in the future if I have time. I just want to you guys to beware of these type of trends

Leafs are getting smoked tonight. They saved Gigeure for tomorrow night so Gustavson can get blasted.

Love Duke I like the under even more (under the total in the last 10 meetings) Indiana +12 (they have beaten Purdue outright at home in 9 straight years) These are just trends but I think at least one of these will continue

I see so many NBA games where in the 1st 3 quarters they don't play much defense and keep the game close and then in the 4th quarter they clamp down on "D" to try and win the game.

The Yankee lost by over 10 runs yesterday. They are 3-0 this season following a 10+ run loss to the same team the previous game.
Yanks are pissed and they shelled Becket for 8 runs in Boston earlier this season.
Boston is not a lock I am all over the Yankees. Without the hot Ortiz what are they thinking?

I have a stat that you guys should take a look at.
The Yankees are 3-0 this year 2-0 last year when they lose by 10+ runs the following game against the same team.
This year the following game they win by 3+ runs.
I know Josh Beckett is 8-0 at home and all but he did have a bad outing the 1st time they met in Boston earlier this year allowing 8 runs in 5 innings. Beckett didn't get a loss because AJ Burnett had an equally disasterous outing and look what happened to Burnett yesterday.
I think the Yanks are pissed and ready to pounce.
I am taking either Yankees RL -2 for +240 or 1.5 for +175 on 5dimes

Cubs are on a 5-game skid but are facing a pathetic Pirates team that I personally benefitted from losing there last 2 games to the Rockies by 8+ runs. Not only have the Priates lost 10-11 they lost all but 1 game by more than 2 runs.
I love the Cubs RL. I may even pick them to win by 3. 5 Dimes has that option. It's time for them to wake up

Bills have covered the past 6 preseason road games
I think the trend will continue

Sox are taking it tonight they won't get swept in 4 games. In the last month or so I cashed in big on teams playing Sunday night avoiding the sweep including the White Sox over the Tigers and Cardinals over the Cubs.
The Yankees avoided the 4 game sweep last week and the BoSox will do it to them this week plus Lester hasn't lost to the Yanks and more than half of tonights BoSox line up hits over .300 against Petite.
I would take the Sox RL but the minimal juice will be the safer bet

Revenge Weekend
BC is a lock just like Edmonton yesterday. Watch out for Winnipeg, I know there offense is garbage but there defense will keep it close. I am not confident with the Argos at 5. I will take the points. |

You have to check out Milwaukee. They have won 17 straight 19 of 20 against the Pirates. I am following this streak until Pitsburgh figures a way to win.

Load up folks
Calgary is winning by at least 21. The last 3 meetings in Calgary the Argos got destroyed by a minimum of 23 points. Plus Calgary is 0-2. They're coach is gonna fire them up. BC was a lock last night being 0-2 as well. I live in T-O and have no respect for the Argos. The Stamps are defending Grey Cup champs. No way they will go 0-3. After that pathetic loss to Montreal this will be a statement game |
