Major League Baseball has unanimously approved the expanded use of instant replay for the beginning of the 2014 season, as reported by ESPN's Adam Rubin.
Calls that will be reviewable includes home runs, ground-rule doubles, fan interference, stadium boundary calls, force plays, tags, trapped balls, hit by pitches, whether a runner scored ahead of an out, passing another baserunner and correct counts.
Managers will have at least one challenge per game and if the challenge is correct, the manager will get another challenge for a maximum of two per game.
Umpire crew chiefs may initiate their own replay reviews at the beginning of the seventh inning.
Reviews won't be conducted in each individual city as there will be a replay command center in New York City.
