Saskatchewan Roughriders at Calgary Stampeders (-3.5, 52.5)

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are the hottest team in the CFL at 3-0 straight up and against the spread. They are so excited in Regina, they decided this week they are going to go ahead and build a new stadium.

Turnovers, solid defense and an effective-not-flashy offense are what’s winning games for the Green and White. Saskatchewan has yet to commit a turnover through the first three weeks of the season while forcing eight.

Sasky enters Thursday’s game in Calgary on a five-game against the spread winning streak that dates back to last October following an impressive 23-20 win over B.C. last week.

After that win some might say it's a surprise the Riders are 4-point underdogs this week but consider Calgary has won and covered in the past four meetings. Also consider Saskatchewan has a couple of key injuries - to defensive end Odell Willis, who leads the team with two sacks, and to Canadian receiver Rob Bagg.

The Stamps have a crucial injury of their own and will be without starting QB Drew Tate for the remainder of the season due to shoulder surgery. His replacement Kevin Glenn threw for 267 yards with  no touchdowns in a tough loss to Montreal last week. Glenn threw one pick that turned into a game-winning touchdown drive for Montreal.

The total is set at 52.5 for this game and over players will like that Calgary is the highest scoring team in the CFL so far. Under players will like that the Stamps only gave up five net rushing yards to the Als last week.

Pick: As of Wednesday night, 54.9 percent of Covers contest players like Calgary to cover the spread.
