Starting pitching is an important factor bettors need to consider before throwing down on any MLB game.

Here are three NL pitchers that are paying off bettors early on:

Matt Harvey, New York Mets (4-0, 0.93 ERA, won bettors $405 if they wagered $100 on each of his four starts)

The second-year starter has gotten off to a torrid start for the New York Mets. Harvey is the NL leader in wins (4), second in strikeouts (32), second in WHIP (0.66) and fourth in ERA (0.90) among starting pitchers. He has gone at least seven innings in all four of his outings.

Harvey's next scheduled start is Wednesday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Madison Bumgarner, San Francisco Giants (3-0, 2.05 ERA, won bettors $400 if they wagered $100 on each of his four starts)

The Giants' righty is coming off of another quality start on Friday night. Bumgarner struck out a season-high 10 batters in six innings of work on his way to a no-decision versus the San Diego Padres. Bumgarner gets just 3.25 runs of support per game, ranking him 39th among NL starting pitchers.

Bumgarner's next scheduled start is Wednesday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Patrick Corbin, Arizona Diamondbacks (2-0, 1.42 ERA, won bettors $338 if they wagered $100 on each of his three starts)

The Diamondbacks are 3-0 in Corbin's starts. The rookie has only been touched up for three earned in 19 innings of work against the Milwaukee Brewers, Dodgers and New York Yankees.

Corbin's next start is scheduled for Tuesday in San Francisco.
