Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel announced that he will enter the 2014 NFL Draft Wednesday.

Manziel became the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy when he captured the prize in 2012.

He plans to head to San Diego for the next few months to train with private quarterback coach George Whitfield. According to CBSSports.com, the pair have been working together for the past two summers.

His two seasons at College Station have provided some astronomical numbers. He completed 595 passes, racked up 7,820 passing yards, thrown for 63 touchdowns against 22 INTs and rushed for 2,169 yards and 30 TDs in his illustrious Aggies career.

The 2014 NFL Draft is scheduled for May 8-10 from Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
