Redskins QB Robert Griffin III and Bears QB Jay Cutler both exited their respective games with injuries on Sunday afternoon.
After taking several big hits throughout the game, Griffin took a huge hit from Ravens DT Haloti Ngata and his right knee bent a way it was not intended to with just under two minutes remaining. The rookie returned for a few plays before the pain became too much and he gave way to backup Kirk Cousins, who completed the 31-28 comeback win for Washington. The Redskins, who covered for the fourth straight week, are on the road at Cleveland next Sunday.
A massive hit to the head from Vikings DE Everson Griffen knocked Cutler out in the fourth quarter of Chicago's 21-14 loss to Minnesota. The Bears have dropped four of five, covering only once in that span. Chicago hosts the Green Bay Packers next Sunday in a key NFC North matchup.
