It's everyone's favorite time of year, once again - Stanley Cup Playoffs season.

With the National Hockey League's regular season wrapping up Sunday night, the playoff matchups are all set and sportsbooks across Las Vegas and online have released their series prices for the opening round.

The league's President's Trophy winners as the top team overall during the regular season, the Washington Capitals, will take on the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Maple Leafs, in the first round. Westgate LV Superbook in Vegas has the Caps pegged as -330 favorites in this high profile opening round clash, with the Leafs paying +270 to pull off the upset.

In the Western Conference the Chicago Blackhawks earned the top seed and draw a tough 1-vs-8 matchup against the scrappy Nashville Predators. Oddsmakers recognized the fact that the Preds aren't a typical No. 8 seed and placed a -190 price on the Hawks with the Preds getting +170 on the other side.
