The San Antonio Spurs are expected to sit four of their five starters for tonight's game against the Miami Heat, according to a report in the San Antonio Express News.
Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green returned to San Antonio after Wednesday night’s win in Orlando in order to rest ahead of Saturday's home game against Memphis. "As a result," says the report, "the Spurs – who were already without injured small forward Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson – get set to take on the defending NBA champions using a roster of nine players."
The move caused a massive shift in the line, moving the Heat from 6.5-point favorites to 12.5-point faves. The total also dropped from 205 to 200.
Tonight marks the 12th road game in November for the Spurs in what is the heaviest road schedule in one month in team history.
