MLB 'overs' are the hot play to start May

Major League Baseball betting has posted a 45-29-1 over/under record in the month of May, including a 28-9-1 over/under count in the last three days heading into Tuesday's action.

Any $100 bettor would be up $1,464.04 if they had taken the over in each game this month. The $100 bettor would be up $1,815.33 if they had taken the over in all games on May 4, May 5 and May 6.

The Tampa Bay Rays lead the way with a 5-0 over/under record in May. The Colorado Rockies have posted a 4-0 over/under record since the beginning of the month. The New York Mets also have stayed above the number, going 3-0 over/under to open May. The Houston Astros have also been a hot over play in May as well, going 4-1 over/under.
